Top 10 Flutter App Development Companies in the USA (2026)

The top Flutter app development companies serving the USA in 2026 include Very Good Ventures, Somnio Software, Cheesecake Labs, Mercury Development, TechAhead, Curotec, Walturn, Jackrabbit Mobile, WillowTree (now TELUS Digital) and Techparser. Hourly bands on Clutch run from $25 to $199, and minimum project sizes from $1,000 to $100,000. Data was fetched from Clutch and company sites on 30 September 2026. The list is not ranked.

Flutter is Google's UI toolkit for building iOS, Android, web and desktop apps from one Dart codebase. Google reported at I/O 2025 that Flutter accounted for nearly 30% of new free iOS apps tracked by AppTopia in 2024, and that it has led the JetBrains multi-platform framework survey since 2021. Demand for agencies who can ship it has followed. Below are ten who serve US clients, with the same data recorded for each.

How we chose these companies

  1. Each company either has a US headquarters or a US office and sells to US clients in US time zones.
  2. Each publishes Flutter as a named service and has shipped Flutter apps to public stores.
  3. We fetched each Clutch profile on 30 September 2026 and recorded headquarters, employee range, hourly rate band, minimum project size and rating as shown. Where a profile could not be loaded, we say so and cite no rating.
  4. We included a spread of sizes and rates, from two-person boutiques to firms with hundreds of engineers, because a startup and an enterprise need different partners.
  5. Techparser is listed first because we wrote this; the rest are in no particular order.

The ten companies in detail

1. Techparser

Techparser is a product engineering agency with a US entity in Dover, Delaware and an engineering team in Pakistan. It is 11 to 50 people, and its engineers each carry 10 or more years of experience. Five Flutter apps are live. SlimAI is an AI calorie tracker using Gemini, ML Kit and native widgets, with 10,000+ installs and a 4.6-star Play rating since October 2025. Spyra Beauty, a social beauty app with AI scanning, has 50,000+ installs at 4.7 stars on Google Play and 5.0 on the App Store. Cru Social, an aviation network on Supabase, holds 4.8 stars on the App Store. Keke Kids, a children's tracing app, is at 5.0 stars. Techparser also embeds engineers into client teams, as it did for Cru Social from August 2025 to January 2026. Best for startups shipping an MVP that needs AI or ML inside a Flutter app.

2. Very Good Ventures

Very Good Ventures is the best-known Flutter consultancy in the US. Clutch lists New York as headquarters with locations in Evanston, Illinois and Warsaw, a 10 to 49 range, $150 to $199 per hour and a $100,000 minimum. Its profile showed 5.0 from 35 reviews. VGV has focused only on Flutter since 2018 and shipped one of the first commercial Flutter apps in 2017. It maintains widely used open-source tooling such as very_good_cli and speaks at FlutterCon. Best for enterprises and scale-ups with budgets to match.

3. Somnio Software

Somnio Software is based in Montevideo, Uruguay and works nearshore with US clients in overlapping hours. It describes itself as the first 100% Flutter-focused company in Latin America. Clutch showed 5.0 from 46 reviews, $50 to $99 per hour and a $10,000 minimum with 50 to 249 staff. Best for US startups that want Flutter specialists at nearshore rates.

4. Cheesecake Labs

Cheesecake Labs, founded in 2013, lists San Francisco as headquarters on Clutch with core engineering in Florianópolis, Brazil and a team of around 100 to 116. Clutch showed 4.9 from 64 reviews, $50 to $99 per hour and a $50,000 minimum. It works across Flutter and React Native with a strong design practice. Best for funded startups that want design and engineering from one partner.

5. Mercury Development

Mercury Development, founded in 1999 and headquartered in Aventura, Florida, is the longest-running firm on this list. Clutch showed 5.0 from 34 reviews, $50 to $99 per hour, a $25,000 minimum and a 250 to 999 range. It builds in both Flutter and React Native with a track record in healthcare, fitness and fintech. Best for products that will need support for a decade.

6. TechAhead

TechAhead was founded in 2009 with leadership in Agoura Hills, California and engineering in Noida, India and Dubai. Clutch showed 4.9 from 124 reviews, $25 to $49 per hour and a $25,000 minimum, with 50 to 249 staff. It holds ISO 42001, ISO 27001 and SOC 2 Type II certifications. Best for cost-sensitive builds where procurement asks for compliance documents.

7. Curotec

Curotec, founded in 2010 in Philadelphia, offers Flutter and Dart teams alongside its larger web practice. Clutch showed 4.9 from 19 reviews, $50 to $99 per hour and a $10,000 minimum with 50 to 249 employees; the company reported 130+ staff in December 2025. Best for mid-market companies adding a mobile app to an existing web product.

8. Walturn

Walturn is a boutique in Long Island City, New York, founded in 2016 and using Flutter since 2018. It appears on the flutter.dev consultants directory and focuses on healthtech and impact startups. Clutch listed 10 to 49 staff, $25 to $49 per hour and a $1,000 minimum, but had no client reviews when we checked, so we cite no rating. Best for early-stage founders with small first budgets.

9. Jackrabbit Mobile

Jackrabbit Mobile is an Austin, Texas studio with roughly 10 to 49 staff and more than ten years in the market. Clutch showed 4.9 from 18 reviews, $100 to $149 per hour and a $10,000 minimum. It offers Flutter and FlutterFlow alongside React Native and claims 50+ launched apps. Best for founders who want a small US team they can meet in person.

10. WillowTree (TELUS Digital)

WillowTree was founded in Charlottesville, Virginia in 2008, acquired by TELUS International in January 2023, and its brand was retired in 2025 as the team became part of TELUS Digital. It builds native, React Native and Flutter apps for large enterprises. We did not fetch a Clutch profile for the merged entity, so we cite no rating. Best for Fortune 500 programmes rather than startups.

How to read rates and minimums

Clutch rate bands are self-reported and span from $25 to $199 per hour on this list. The spread is real. A $25 to $49 firm usually has its engineers outside the US with US-based account management. A $150 to $199 firm has senior US engineers on the project full time. Neither is better; they answer different questions. A seed-stage MVP with a $60,000 budget cannot start at VGV, and a Fortune 500 programme should not run on a $1,000 minimum boutique.

Questions to ask a Flutter agency

  • Which state management approach do you use and why? Any confident answer is fine; no answer is not.
  • Show me a platform channel you wrote. Every serious Flutter app has native code somewhere.
  • How do you run releases? Look for CI with signed builds, TestFlight and Play internal tracks, and crash reporting from day one.
  • Which Flutter version are your live apps on? A gap of more than two stable releases signals neglected maintenance.
  • Who owns the code, the store accounts and the signing keys? The answer should be you, in the contract.

If you want to see how we answer these, our hire Flutter developers page lists the engineers and the apps they shipped.

Frequently asked questions

How much does it cost to develop a Flutter app?
Published 2026 guides from Cleveroad and others put a simple Flutter MVP at roughly $40,000 to $60,000, a medium app at $60,000 to $120,000, and a large app above $120,000, with 300 to 3,000 development hours. Agency rates on Clutch for the firms here run $25 to $199 per hour. Techparser quotes fixed scope after a call rather than publishing a rate.
Which company built Flutter?
Google built Flutter. It was first announced in 2015, reached 1.0 in December 2018, and is developed as an open-source project on GitHub with Google as the primary maintainer. Flutter uses the Dart language, also created by Google, and ships stable releases roughly every quarter with support for iOS, Android, web, Windows, macOS and Linux.
How do I choose a Flutter development company?
Filter by budget using the agency's minimum project size and rate band, then verify live apps in the App Store and Google Play. Ask to see a platform channel, the release pipeline and the Flutter version of their newest app. Confirm in the contract that you own the code, store accounts and signing keys. Prefer a team that has shipped the integrations your roadmap needs.
Is Flutter good for startups?
Yes, for most consumer and B2B apps. One Dart codebase covers iOS and Android, which roughly halves UI work compared with two native apps, and stable web and desktop targets let you reuse it later. Startups should avoid Flutter only when the product depends on deep platform features such as heavy Bluetooth Low Energy or strict background processing.
